MINUTES OF SELECTMEN MEETING – November 4, 2013 5:00 PM

Minutes of the previous meeting were read and accepted.
Erik Kaiser of Century 21 spoke to the board with regards to the Town of Tolland purchasing Map 410 Lot 2 for $400,000 (182 acre parcel). Eric stated that the Selectmen are only interested in part of the 182 acre parcel and the assessed value of the parcel is $255,200. Whitney asked if the town had a plan for the property if purchased. Steve replied that currently the town does not have a plan and the purchasing of the property would be for any future use. Erik will discuss the information given with property owner Whitney Bonadies and will return with an offer.
Ed received a medical release for Jeff Messenger. Jeff is restricted to light duty.
